Membership of the North West Fraud Forum

Thank you for your interest in the North West Fraud Forum. Fraud, from both a business and personal angle, is perceived as a growing threat.

Joining the North West Fraud Forum is an important first step in recognising the impact of fraud and putting in place a range of often simple but effective measures in place to combat fraud. Through partnership working, sharing best-practice and information, we can make life much more difficult for those individuals and organisations that practice fraud. Membership of the North West Fraud Forum makes a difference. We offer an unrivalled opportunity to network with peers and a tailor made training programme that provides practical help and advice on tackling fraud.

Membership Benefits

The NWFF is the regions only organisation dedicated to fighting fraud. Membership is open to any business based in the region and, in addition, any UK citizen or organisation from the public or private sector based in the North West.

The North West Fraud Forum already has as members some of the regions leading players - join us today to network, learn from, and share best-practice. Through partnership we can lobby more effectively for an effective response to fraud by the Government, businesses and the UK justice system. The basic membership fee will include free access to:

  • NWFF Annual Conference
  • Masterclasses (normally 4 per year); and the
  • Opportunity to host Seminars as NWFF events for members

Aims & Objectives

The objectives of the NWFF are:

  1. To promote fraud awareness in organisations within the region.
  2. To deliver a programme of activity focused on:
    a) Detecting fraud
    b) Preventing fraud
    c) Reducing the impact of fraud risk  

In addition to delivering seminars, training and risk reduction advice to stakeholders within the region, the NWFF will endeavour to encourage collaboration between members of the business community to fight fraud and financial crime, protecting the North West economy. The Forum will also lobby the business community, Government and the UK justice system to establish a more effective response to fraud.
